The Huawei Mate 40 Pro was disassembled on the same Chinese technical blog that introduced the inside of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.
Disassembly is the normal process of heating a phone, loosening the glue that holds the glass plate to the frame, and then prying it open with a thin tool.
The Mate 40 Pro is, of course, modular inside. You can see the mainboard, wireless charging coil, 4,400mAh battery, USB-C connector, camera.

Although the main camera and ultra-wide camera are connected, the 5x periscope zoom camera has its own independent housing.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is fairly easy to repair if you have experience. The battery is replaceable and can be removed by pulling the pull tab underneath. The USB-C connector can be easily replaced. Still, to maintain the warranty, you should consult an expert if your phone needs repair.
