OnePlus introduced the Always-On Display feature on Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11 pre-installed on the OnePlus 8T. T-Mobile’s 8T (also known as 8T + 5G) was an exception because it wasn’t out of the box, but I’ve received an OxygenOS11.0.4.6.KB09CB update that enables this feature.
The new firmware also includes the October 2020 Android security patch to optimize battery performance. In addition, it fixes the bugs that caused software freezes and device overheating while fixing Bluetooth audio issues.
