Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C announced with notched displays, big batteries and 13MP cameras – TechWeu
Xiaomi offshoot Redmi unveiled the Redmi 9 earlier this month and now the enterprise included two more devices to the lineup – Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.
The company has not shared the thorough specs sheet of either of these telephones at the time of posting, but it did reveal its key specs through a post on Facebook.
The Redmi 9A has an Helio G25 SoC at the helm with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It sports a 6.53″ waterdrop drop notch display of 720p resolution and packs a 5,000 mAh battery.
The Redmi 9A comes with a single 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front.

Redmi 9C, on the other hand, is powered by the Helio G35 SoC and has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage onboard. Like the Redmi 9A, the 9C also packs a 6.53″ HD+ waterdrop notch display and is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery.

Redmi 9C shares the 9A’s 5MP selfie camera and the 13MP primary camera is now joined by two more units, but their purpose is unknown. The smartphone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader which is absent from the 9A.

Redmi 9A is priced at RM359 ($85/€75) whereas the Redmi 9C will set you back by RM429 ($100/€90). The 9A will go on sale in Malaysia starting July 7 through Lazada and the 9C will be available for purchase in July end.
